I was thinking of going for the surface (seamail)) method. At first, I thought it wouldn't be that reliable but saw the feedback section here and many people (from Peru and other countries) used it and all of them were pleased with it. So I gave it a try! The package came to Peru 3 months after it was shipped but I had no problem with that. The package came in perfect condition and all of my items (it was a considerable 'big' purchase) were intact! Well protected (as usual). I preferred to wait 3 months rather than pay a stupid extra "made-up" tax for DHL (it is a robbery in my opinion).
