ZenMarket is excited to announce an upcoming update to ZenPoints, giving you even more ways to use the rewards you earn while shopping with us.
From September 10th, in addition to using ZenPoints toward international shipping, you will soon be able to also use ZenPoints to pay for eligible item purchases on ZenMarket.

More Ways to Use Your ZenPoints
Until now, ZenPoints have primarily been used toward international shipping payments. With this update, they will become much more flexible, allowing you to apply your available ZenPoints directly toward the cost of items you purchase through ZenMarket.
This means the points you earn through eligible campaigns, promotions, and other ZenMarket rewards can help you save earlier in your shopping journey, not only when it is time to ship your parcel from Japan.
Simple and Flexible Payments
Using ZenPoints for purchases is designed to be straightforward. When making an eligible purchase, you will be able to apply ZenPoints toward the item price, giving you greater flexibility over how you use your ZenMarket balance and rewards.
You will also be able to combine ZenPoints with coupons and other available payment funds. This means you will not need enough ZenPoints to cover the full cost of an item in order to use them.
What Happens If Your Purchase Is Refunded?
If ZenPoints are used to pay for an item and that portion of the purchase is later refunded, the ZenPoints component will still be returned to you as ZenPoints. They will not be converted into account funds.
Can I Use ZenPoints for Bidding on Auctions?
No. ZenPoints will be available for eligible item purchases, but they cannot be used when placing bids on auctions. If you regularly use ZenMarket to bid on Japanese auction sites, your existing auction payment process will remain unchanged.

Giving customers more flexibility is at the heart of this update. Whether you prefer to save your ZenPoints for shipping or use them sooner toward the cost of an item, the choice will be yours.
ZenPoints will continue to be part of ZenMarket campaigns and promotions, and this expanded functionality means rewards you earn can be put to use across more of your ZenMarket shopping experience.
