ZenPoints can also be used toward eligible cancellation and disposal fees, including services such as battery removal. Certain charges, including item overstay fees, and shipping fees from sellers to ZenMarket where the shipping fee is not known at the time of purchase, can also be covered automatically by available ZenPoints when your account balance reaches zero.
This means the points you earn through eligible campaigns, promotions, and other ZenMarket rewards can help you save at more stages of your shopping journey, from purchasing items to preparing them for delivery.

Simple and Flexible Payments
Using ZenPoints is designed to be straightforward. For eligible purchases and services, you can choose how many ZenPoints to apply toward your payment, giving you greater control over how you use your ZenMarket balance and rewards.
You can also combine ZenPoints with coupons and other available payment funds for eligible purchases. This means you do not need enough ZenPoints to cover the full cost of an item in order to enjoy their benefits.
For international shipping, you now have greater control over your rewards, too. Rather than having ZenPoints applied automatically, you can choose how many points you want to use toward your shipping payment, making it easier to save them for other purchases or services.
Some charges, such as parcel overstay fees and domestic shipping fees where the amount is unknown at the time of purchase, work differently. Available ZenPoints are automatically applied when your account balance reaches zero, helping to cover these costs before your balance becomes negative.

What Happens If Your Purchase Is Refunded?
If ZenPoints are used to pay for an item and that portion of the purchase is later refunded, the ZenPoints component will still be returned to you as ZenPoints. They will not be converted into account funds.
Can I Pay Using Just ZenPoints and the Credit System?
Yes! You can pay with a combination of account funds, ZenPoints, and loyalty credit in a single transaction.
However, in order to use your credit, all points and funds must be used before consuming credit.
As such a general rule of thumb is that payment types are used in the following order:
- Account funds
- ZenPoints
- Overrides funds only when you choose to use them and for the amount of points you choose
- If you no longer have funds and attempt to pay
- Credit (used only if both your account funds and ZenPoints balances reach zero).
