Can You Order from Amazon JP?

How To Search For Products When Only Using Amazon JP
You can start searching Amazon Japan by typing the product keywords in the search bar or by selecting the categories on the left side. For example, type in “kawaii fashion”, “Harajuku fashion”, “Korean fashion”, or “Japanese fashion” into the search bar. The more specific the term the better.
While Amazon is easier to use than for example Rakuten, searching for products can be a challenge.
Here are a few options you can try:
Start your search in English
Oftentimes, the product you are looking for will appear also in English. But you'll have much better luck if you know the title of the product in Japanese.
Use Amazon categories
This method can be slow, but if you are familiar with categories in your home country, you shouldn't have any problems navigating through the categories.
Use Google Translate
While this option may or may not work, it's definitely worth trying to type in either the product or brand name. You will notice that the results are still in Japanese. You will have to click through the products to find exactly what you're looking for.

Yes, it's possible to order goods from Amazon Japan from the USA, but you have to keep in mind that Amazon JP is in Japanese. You can try google translate, but it often doesn't make any sense, especially for the product descriptions.
It is easy to change navigation and account settings to English, however, the product descriptions won't be translated. To change the language settings, either click the flag at the top of the page or scroll to the bottom of the page to find the language and country settings. Then change the option from “日本語” to “English”.
Next, select your currency in the Amazon Currency Converter. When you buy items using the eligible MasterCard, American Express, or Visa credit, or debit card, you might be able to pay in your local currency.
To switch to your local currency:
Select the item you want to purchase and proceed to checkout
Before paying for your order, select the currency you want to use for your order.
After that the Amazon Currency Converter will automatically display the price in your local currency, so you will know exactly how much you need to pay.
The currency converter recognizes your currency based on the country where you are located. If the recognized currency is not right, you can always change it by selecting the My card is a different currency option. The currency you selected will be stored for any future purchases.
