JAPAN POST | CHANGES TO PRICING & EMS BACK FOR USA (JUNE 2021)

Japan Post has announced that it will be making changes to its rates and shipping prices. 

Starting June 1st, 2021, Japan Post will allow shipping for EMS for parcels bound for the United States.

Unfortunately, as a consequence of COVID-19, the number of allowed freights that can be sent is decreasing and additional fees for “EMS” shipping services will be required for the countries belonging to Postal Zone 2:

• Oceania
• North America
• Central America
• The Middle East
• Europe

Due to these changes, ZenMarket will be accepting payments for international shipping using the current shipping prices (“Before June 1st, 2021” Prices) until 23:59 JST, May 30. 

Any EMS parcels which are not paid for by this time will automatically be changed to match Japan Post’s new pricing tier on June 1st, 1 AM JST. 

Due to the potential time delay between the last parcel pick-up of May and changes being made by Japan Post's new pricing structure, payments made for EMS parcels between 00:00, May 31st, and 1 AM, June 1st, will be refunded.

After this time, all shipping payments will be subject to Japan Post's new pricing structure from June 1st onwards.
