This fall, the classic check is bolder and better than ever before. While there's always a place for traditional blue, green or red tartan, adding some playful colours is totally on trend right now.

3. Layering

Streetwear brands have been layering a lot of Fall staples (and summer ones too) on top of each other for a while now. The important thing about layering clothes is combining the different textures and proportions to create a new silhouette. Why not try layering some of your closet like these Japanese guys below. 

2. Cartoons

If there's anywhere in the world who would love wearing cartoons - it's got to be Japan. A lot of streetwear brands including BAPE are teaming up with your favourite anime characters to bring you the hottest and highly Instagrammable collaborations.

We are living in the era where almost everything is shared and communicated as a "status," and the Fall streetwear fashion in Japan does not change anything. Logomania is growing strong, and designers like CDG are using their initials to show it.
