During December 2025 and January 2026, ZenMarket will introduce updates to the Avia Small Packet shipping method. These changes are required due to Japan Post discontinuing the original Avia Small Packet service, which affects how this option can continue to operate. As a result, the service will undergo minor adjustments in its content for some destinations, while being discontinued entirely for others.
We understand that Avia Small Packet has been one of the most reliable and economical shipping choices for many of our customers. Its partial discontinuation may significantly impact how some of you ship your orders, and we genuinely appreciate your understanding and patience as we implement these changes.

Avia Small Packet will remain available in 39 destinations*.
Note:
- Adding valuables to Avia Small parcels will be available until December 17th, 23:59 JST
- The parcels for such destinations (including valuables) will have to be paid for by December 24th, 23:59 JST
- After this date, clients will be asked to change the shipping method

Restrictions on What Can Be Shipped
Certain items will no longer be accepted under Avia Small Packet.
The updated service cannot ship valuables, including:
- Money (including discontinued or old coins and banknotes)
- Precious metals
- Precious stones
- Items made with precious metals or stones
These items may still be shipped temporarily, but only until the deadlines listed below and only for destinations where the service continues.
What Customers Should Expect
- In the 128 supported destinations listed above, Avia Small Packet will continue but with stricter limitations on what can be shipped.
- In all other destinations, Avia Small Packet will no longer appear as an option once the deadlines pass.
- To avoid missing the payment deadline, and potentially losing access to this shipping method, we strongly advise all customers to create parcels and proceed with shipping as early as possible, especially for destinations that will no longer support Avia Small Packet.
We expect minor delays between payment and shipping during the transition period due to adjustment to the new format and overlap with the end of year holidays. We hope for your understanding and thank you for your patience as we transition over to the new system.
