【モアサナイトとは】
隕石に付着していたことから知られたモアサナイト。地球上では天然のモアサナイトはごく少量しか存在しないので
流通していません。（天然モアサナイトと表記されて販売されている物は偽物と考えていただいて結構です。）
ダイヤモンド→炭素
モアサナイト→炭化ケイ素
で出来ています。
モアサナイトのルースをダイヤモンドテスターに当てると「ダイヤモンド」と反応が出ます。
（ただし「ダイヤモンドとモアサナイトを判別するテスター」では「モアサナイト」と判別されるため
質屋等に持ち込み「ダイヤモンド」として売ることは出来ません。）
「人工ダイヤモンド」と「モアサナイト」は別物になります。
モアサナイトの煌めきはダイヤモンドの2.5倍と測定されています。
アメリカの会社が取得していた特許権が終了した為、世界的にお安く手に入るようになりました。
