We are a Kyoto-based manufacturer specializing in Buddhist altars and accessories.

Our company was founded in 1830 (Tempo 1) by our first-generation owner, Ubee Wakabayashi, under the name "Nomuraya Wakabayashi Ubee Store." Since then, we have dedicated ourselves to crafting Buddhist altars and accessories for both temples and households in collaboration with Kyoto's skilled artisans.

Kyoto is home to the head temples of many Buddhist sects. Each head temple has a network of approved suppliers, made up of businesses from various industries, that provide products and services. Only stores with a long-standing reputation for trust and performance are granted the status of an official supplier, referred to as "御本山御用達" (Authorized by the Head Temple).

Throughout our long history, we have proudly supplied Buddhist accessories to numerous head temples, branch temples across Japan, and individual temples as an authorized provider trusted by the head temples.
