Tokyo Revengers is a shonen manga written and illustrated by Ken Wakui and has been adapted into anime by Liden Films.
The story follows the main protagonist Takemichi Hanegaki, who learns that the girl he dated in middle school as well as her younger brother had been killed by the Tokyo Manji gang. When Takemichi is pushed in front of a train himself, he finds himself in 12 years in the past and living out his middle school days. He manages to finds his way back to the present, but vows to return and alter the past to save his middle school sweetheart. The Tokyo Revengers franchise has been incredibly popular and continues to wow anime and manga fans around the world.
