Fabrice Dupre is a native of the west green suburb of Paris. Born in 1974, he is sixteen years old when painting comes to him, surprisingly. As a game he first tries to copy a well-known painter. The result amazes his relatives. He is himself much surprised by the pleasure that this realization brought to him.
From that moment, he spends all his leisure times duplicating classic or modern pictures. but very soon, copying wearies him. He then works to the discovery of his own painting : rough strokes, miscellaneous techniques and tools - acrylic paint, oilstick, inks, glue - combine and repetitive coats progressively turn into non-expected representations of everyday's life. the size of the canvas grow together with Fabrice's exploration of his art.
He currently lives and works in Japan.
