横山大観の シルクスクリーン  「 春之霊峰 」  です。
 
大観は1868年茨城県の生まれ。1889年、東京美術学校の1期生となる。同期に下村観山、2期生に菱田春草。
1896年、母校に奉職、2年後校長・岡倉天心排斥運動により、同調して退職、岡倉と日本美術院創設。
のち「朦朧体」と呼ばれる没線描法を確立した、明治・大正・昭和を駆け抜けた日本近代画壇の巨匠。
島根県の足立美術館には、創始者・足立全康の並々ならぬ努力もあり、大観の作品130点を蔵している。
今回の作品は、彼が生涯追い続けた富士を描いた作品です。
