《富田渓仙》

1879年-1936年
号は渓仙、久鼓庵。
初め狩野派の手ほどきを受け、1896年京都へ出て四条派を学んだ。
のち仙崖、与謝蕪村に私淑、富岡鉄斎に傾倒しまた仏画の研究を重ねた。
横山大観のすすめで1915年再興日本美術院の同人となる。
南画風の異色ある大作を発表し、自由闊達な独自の画風をつくり上げた。
