アンチゴライトは、サーペンティンを構成する鉱物のうちの1つで、翡翠に似た
緑色の半透明の質感をしています。
そのためパキスタンで産出するアンチゴライトは、パキスタンジェードとよばれます。
ほとんどは不透明な結晶で、このような透明感の高い結晶でもモース硬度が
2.5と非常に脆いためほとんどカットされません。

通常アンチゴライトは不透明な結晶ですが、このルースは透明度が高く、つややかな
表面と色ムラがない整った質感がきれいです。
