ファンタジーと西部劇が融合したRPG「ワイルドアームズ」シリーズ第5弾。4thでのHEX(6角コマ)を仕様するバトルにHEXの配置バリエーションやトラップなど、アクシデントターンが追加。戦略性、緊迫感が大幅にアップした。走る、飛ぶ、押す、投げる、といったお馴染みのアクション操作に加え、ARM(銃)を使ったアクションが登場。待望のアウトフィールドが復活し、バイクや列車など様々な乗り物に乗って世界を冒険できる。オープニング主題歌はヒロイン・レベッカの声を担当する水樹奈々。主人公ディーン(声:下野紘)、謎の少女アヴリル(声:伊藤静)らが登場。
