■Nishijin ori
This handbag uses the kimono obi material of the Nishijin ori which is a folkcraft of Kyoto.
This uses a Japanese classic pattern and the high-quality silk thread.
The Nishijin ori has highest dignity as an obi of the kimonos.

The classic textile which follows from the end of fifth century made in west position area of Kyoto.
What is a kimono obi ?
A belt when I wear a kimono.
Nishijin ori is a general term for yarn-dyed fabrics made in Kyoto.
In the handicraft industry, production of cotton fabrics was developed, while luxury Nishijin brocades were made in the traditional textile manufacture of silk products.
