The first-ever collaboration between The Pokémon Company has finally been published bringing the possibility of having Eevee in your pocket. The new Tamagotchi will let you take care of and play with your very own digital Eevee. Depending on how well you raise your Eevee will determine which Eevee evolution it will evolve into. Your digital pet Eevee will have the potential to evolve into one of the famous eight evolutions: Umbreon, Sylveon, Espeon, Vaporeon, Flareon, Jolteon, Leafeon, or Glaceon.

This isn’t the first time that The Pokémon Company has tried to tap into the digital pet market. The Pocket Pikachu which was released in the late ’90s, allowing Pokémon fans and Pikachu lovers to carry Pikachu around in their pocket. Then, in 2010, the PokéWalker (a Pikachu pedometer) was released.

Now, next year on January 26th, 2019 Bandai’s Eevee Tamagotchi will be released in Japan. It will be available in yellow and pink hard shells, and retail for 2,300 JPY (about $20).
